On July 15, Zhao Ming, Director-General of the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology, led a team to Feixi County to investigate how sci-tech innovation empowers integrated urban-rural development and chaired a symposium. Fan Jin, Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and Wang Xinhua, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Magistrate, accompanied the inspection and attended the forum.
According to Feixi Release, Zhao Ming and his entourage visited enterprises including Zhongke Lingxi to learn in detail about production, R&D, manufacturing processes and product applications, and listened directly to the company’s development needs.
Zhao Ming stressed that sci-tech innovation serves as a key pillar for urban-rural integration and high-quality growth of the county economy. Sci-tech enterprises shall be nurtured and expanded, with strengthened sci-tech leadership and innovation-driven development philosophy. Innovation resources will be better allocated to foster a clustered ecosystem of tech enterprises with tiered growth and iterative upgrading, consolidating the foundation for sci-tech innovation. Priority shall be given to commercialization of research outcomes. Enterprises will remain the main players of innovation, with their innovation vitality unlocked. Channels, ecosystem and services will be optimized to turn more high-quality research results into local productive forces. Results-oriented approaches must be upheld. Targeted measures will be rolled out around technical breakthroughs, platform building, talent cultivation and financial support to meet demands for industrial upgrading, agricultural efficiency gains and service sector improvement. Deeper integration of technological and industrial innovation between urban and rural areas will be promoted to raise innovation efficiency and fuel high-quality county economic development.
