On April 9, the "Smart Feixi Lecture Hall" hosted a special AI session themed on embodied intelligence. Co-organized by the Organization Department of Feixi County Party Committee, the Party School of the County Party Committee and the County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the event was held at the Paihe Theatre of the County Government. Wang Jun, Member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, presided over the session. Dr. Hu Hu, Co-founder and Deputy General Manager of Zhongke Lingxi, a local sci-tech enterprise, was invited as the keynote speaker, delivering a cutting-edge technology lecture for government and enterprise guests on how AI can take root and perform practical work.

Global Landscape: A Dual-lead Pattern of China and the US,
China Forges Ahead with Solid Strength
At the start of the speech, Dr. Hu Hu outlined the global landscape of embodied intelligence: the China-US dual leadership accounts for nearly 70% of the global market share.
Dr. Hu Hu analyzed that the US holds advantages at the top layer — chips, algorithm ecosystems and upstream industrial chains with core computing power. By contrast, China’s strengths lie in the bottom layer and market-side applications: prominent cost advantages, massive industrial scenarios and a complete hardware manufacturing system. It can finish prototyping within 3 days and launch mass production within 7 days, boasting world-leading response speed.

What is Embodied Intelligence?
Dr. Hu Hu explained it in plain terms: traditional AI acts like a theorist. It can perceive, reason and communicate, and carry out simple programmed actions. Embodied intelligence is a doer. It equips AI with a physical body (robots and robotic arms), closes the full loop of "perception-decision-execution", enabling the AI to touch, observe, move and work in the physical world and achieve unity of cognition and action. In short, it brings AI out of screens to solve real-world problems.
Technology Breakthroughs: Full-stack Innovation by Lingxi,
Tackling the Pain Points of Clumsy Manipulation, Poor Stability and Difficult Mass Production
Embodied intelligence is evolving from Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs) toward Vision-Language-Action Models (VLAs) and even World Models (WMs). Nevertheless, industrialization still faces multiple obstacles including weak generalization, hardware constraints, scarce data, the Sim2Real gap and tough engineering deployment.
To address these challenges, Zhongke Lingxi adheres to independent R&D instead of simple technology import, and has built full-stack technological barriers covering machinery, hardware and algorithms:
1. Self-developed multi-dimensional sensor arrays integrate multi-modal signals such as vision, force, pose and tactile sensing for precise environmental perception;
2. It has developed fully-actuated and underactuated composite transmission technologies paired with the Lingxi intelligent generalized grasping algorithm. This allows dexterous hands to judge barycenters, grip objects steadily and recognize shapes just like human hands, resolving industry challenges such as lateral slipping;
3. Full independent controllability from core components to system integration lays a solid technical foundation for mass deployment.

Industrial Deployment: Dexterous Hands Put into Factory Service,
Covering Precision Manufacturing, High-risk Operations and Intelligent Inspection
The value of embodied intelligence is ultimately verified by industrial landing. Dr. Hu Hu introduced that positioned as a preferred supplier of industrial dexterous hand solutions, Zhongke Lingxi has built a complete product portfolio including linkage-driven dexterous hands, cable-driven dexterous hands, wheeled humanoid robots and coordinated "hand-eye-arm-brain" systems.
The products have achieved scaled application in three high-barrier scenarios:
1. Precision Manufacturing & Flexible Assembly: At Jiangsu Leili’s factory, dexterous hand robots accurately grasp and assemble special-shaped motor parts, greatly lifting the automation level of non-standard production lines;

2. High-risk Operations & Unattended Work: Explosion-proof wheeled sampling robots operate in a toxic and explosive hydrogen fluoride environment at a plant of China National Chemical Corporation, replacing manual labor to switch valves and collect samples for zero-risk operation;

3. Complex Environment & Intelligent Inspection: Robots for power distribution rooms can not only measure temperature and read meters, but also perform delicate switching operations via dexterous hands to realize truly unattended and intelligent operation and maintenance.

With low cost, high performance and mass delivery capacity, Zhongke Lingxi has partnered with more than 50 enterprises nationwide across over ten industries, emerging as a benchmark for industrial embodied intelligence deployment.
Rooted in Feixi: Government-Enterprise Collaboration,
Jointly Building the Future of Smart Manufacturing
Founded in 2024 as a local Feixi enterprise, Zhongke Lingxi has been listed as a key industrial chain enterprise in Hefei and a national sci-tech SME, and honored as a Feixi County Eaglet Enterprise of 2025.
During the Q&A session, Dr. Hu Hu offered suggestions for the development of Feixi’s embodied intelligence industry: tap local manufacturing scenarios, improve supporting industrial chains and promote deep integration between embodied intelligence technologies and industries.

Moving forward, Zhongke Lingxi will stay rooted in Feixi and keep exploring embodied intelligence. It will empower high-end equipment manufacturing with core technologies and inject stronger sci-tech momentum into the high-quality development of smart manufacturing in Feixi!
