Intro: What the world needs is not the dexterous hand with the best specs, but the one that gets the job done.
From August 31 to September 3, LEAP 2026, the global tech summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, came to a close. This marked Zhongke Lingxi’s official debut in the Middle East market. At this event, known as the highest-profile global tech exhibition across the Middle East, the company connected directly with global tech and industrial communities.

This is far more than a trade show appearance. It stands as testament to Chinese hard tech shifting from “product export” to “capability export”. As Saudi Arabia diversifies away from an oil-based economy, it faces structural challenges between labour supply and industrial upgrading. Zhongke Lingxi’s first showcase at LEAP aligns perfectly with this transformative moment.
During the exhibition, Chang Hua, Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, visited Chinese tech enterprises on site. In discussions with company representatives, he noted that China’s Belt and Road Initiative strongly aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, creating broad space for bilateral technological cooperation.
Ambassador Chang encouraged exhibitors to leverage technology as a bond, deeply integrate into Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation and industrial upgrade, and become partners and co-builders of Saudi development. The remarks deliver clear strategic guidance for Chinese tech firms such as Zhongke Lingxi exploring opportunities across the Middle East.
The World Is Facing
“A Crisis of Manipulation”
Global labour force growth continues to slow, manufacturing labour shortages are widening in advanced economies, and vacancy rates for certain high-end manufacturing roles exceed 10%. Meanwhile, working environments in new energy, fine chemical and semiconductor sectors grow harsher and demand ever more precise operations. Human operators are becoming the bottleneck on production lines.

The demand is particularly pronounced in the Middle East. As Saudi Arabia pushes forward its Vision 2030 diversification strategy, numerous new factories are being built while industrial labour remains limited. Scenarios such as high-risk chemical sampling, intelligent power operations and oil & gas pipeline inspection require manipulators that can perform tasks that humans cannot, cannot do well, or cannot safely carry out.
Yet this is a global challenge: the world does not lack robotic hands that can move. It lacks dexterous hands that can work reliably, withstand harsh conditions and be delivered at scale.
Zhongke Lingxi’s Answer:
No Spec Showboating — Real Work On-Site
No conceptual prototypes were displayed at this booth. Every unit on show was a mass-production model proven repeatedly on domestic production lines.
At the centre stood the flagship industrial LG-603. Weighing only 510g, it delivers a static payload of 25kg. Its predecessor platform ran stably for more than 10,000 hours at a Leili motor workshop, equivalent to 300,000 error-free cycles. A technical lead from a UAE petrochemical firm commented directly: “This is exactly the end-effector we need for our production line upgrade.”

The lightweight economical LGX-601 drew strong interest from system integrators and research institutes. At just 400g with a 10kg static payload, it is compatible with mainstream robot bodies, bringing industrial-grade reliability within an accessible price bracket.
The SQ-1503 flexible manipulation flagship breaks stereotypes around tendon-driven designs. With 20 degrees of freedom and tungsten composite tendon transmission, it has passed millions of test cycles — proving tendon-driven hands are viable for factory deployment.
These three product lines revolve around one core truth: what the world needs is not the dexterous hand with the highest parameters, but the one that gets the job done.
Why Zhongke Lingxi?
The Answer Lies On Production Lines
Visiting customers at LEAP asked hard, practical questions: Can it remain stable in extreme environments? What are lead times? How fast is after-sales support?
The answers are already embedded in production data.
To date, over 1,000 units have been deployed across more than ten industrial sectors including chemicals, power and precision manufacturing, accumulating more than 10,000 hours of continuous fault-free runtime, equivalent to 300,000 flawless operations. While the industry benchmark commonly sits at 1,000–2,000 hours, Zhongke Lingxi’s reliability figure is 5–10 times the industry average. This demonstrates exceptional durability and dependability rarely seen in the sector.
At a Hubei plant of China National Chemical Engineering Group, the system achieves fully unmanned hydrogen fluoride sampling with a success rate above 99.9%. This is one of the rare long-term stable deployments of domestic dexterous hands in high-risk chemical environments — not ideal lab figures, but results earned on real industrial shop floors.

The deeper competitive edge comes from supply-chain capacity. Empowered by the Institute of Advanced Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, and supported by Jiangsu Leili’s micro-motor industrial chain, Zhongke Lingxi achieves 100% domestic core component sourcing. This delivers not just cost advantages, but end-to-end supply-chain autonomy, fast customisation response and predictable delivery schedules — a scarce capability amid global supply volatility.
Beyond hardware, the company exports full-stack edge-end collaborative architecture: from data collection and VLA model training to no-code deployment. Customers receive a complete solution that enables robots to perform practical industrial tasks.
From Chinese Production Lines
To Middle East Worksites
On this first international stage, Zhongke Lingxi brought not merely products, but an open mindset for collaboration. During the show, the team entered partnership discussions with multiple local firms, advancing joint validation for chemical sampling, unattended substation operation and precision assembly scenarios.
Ambassador Chang Hua noted during his visit that he was pleased to see Chinese enterprises showcasing innovations in AI, robotics and related fields. Zhongke Lingxi’s booth embodies this shift. Chinese tech firms are moving from “product exports” toward “technology exports”, and dexterous hands form a key piece of this transition.

The four-day LEAP exhibition has concluded, yet Zhongke Lingxi’s global journey is only beginning. The 10,000-hour reliability proven on Chinese production lines is becoming a reference standard for industrial upgrades across the Middle East. This is more than simple product export; it is the export of mature Chinese hard-tech capabilities.
Factories and worksites worldwide do not need flashy specification sheets. They need reliable, capable workers.
And these robotic hands are already on their way.
